After not seeing themselves and dropping the last two games of the series in Dallas, the Phoenix Suns responded with a 110-80 palm on their home bottom against the Dallas Loners in Game 5 on Tuesday night.
Now leading the series 3-2, the Sun is on top of the Loners and just one palm down from reaching the Western Conference final for the alternate season in a row.
Offensively, the Phoenix still plodded to sometimes click effects from the three- point range, but their defenses really did increase and they played to their strengths in this game.
Revealing Loners' offense and attacking their secondary bents alongside Luka Donsick really worked in Games 1 and 2, which is why head trainer Monty Williams and his staff return to this vision in Game 5.
Dallas was held to just 80 points in a 38 firing from the bottom on Tuesday. The three- point shootout urged the Loners to win two home runs over the Sons in the series, but they only shot 8-32 (25) from the depths of the series.
