SAN FRANCISCO - The Warriors were down eight points and on the verge of dropping their fourth game with about two minutes left in regulation Saturday night. But Stephen Curry did everything in his power to make sure that didn't happen.

Curry scored 13 of his game-high 36 points in the fourth and blocked a Bucks shot to force overtime, while he scored nine more points in the Warriors' 125-116 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Curry knocked down a 3-pointer with 3 seconds left and made a breakaway finger-roll layup in the final two minutes of regulation to tie the game at 111. As the game clock wound down, Curry denied a layup attempt by Jeru Holiday to put the ball on the Warriors. 1.9 seconds left in hand.

After a time out, Draymond Green's 3-pointer rimmed out at the market, sending the game into overtime. Curry scored nine more points in overtime as the Warriors snapped the East-leading Bucks' three-game winning streak.

After the game, Coach Steve Kerr praised Curry's ability to find a way to score despite battling one of the league's top defenders, Holiday, all night.

"Steph is fearless," Kerr said. "It doesn't matter if he starts slow if he doesn't have a lot of work, he can fire up at any time. “Kerr called the Warriors' comeback "championship stuff."

Saturday was another slow burn for the Warriors. The only thing that kept them in the game was the Bucks, who started playing just as badly without Giannis Antetokounmpo (sore hand).

The Warriors came alive early in the third to lead by 13, but lost steam after Draymond Green Holliday's ankle sprained his ankle and left the game temporarily.

Milwaukee began to build separation in the fourth, going on an 8-0 run to pull within 100-92. But that's when Curry turned on the turbo jet from there and took over the game. Donte DiVincenzo said he was surprised to see Curry during that stretch.

"I see some shots, like, there's no way and it doesn't even touch the rim. Every time it leaves his hand, I think it's good," he said. "It's a lot of fun to watch and a lot of fun to be on the court with him."

Curry made 13 of 27 from the field and 6 of 15 from deep. He had six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
